We are slowly moving into flairing more and more things, to help you better control what you want and don't want to see.If you saw yesterday, we actually tried a bit of actual content flairing, things like "people" and "scenery". this was just a small test, to see how it would go and to test some fancy new flair cssThis is great, and we do plan on adding more and more flairs to the rosterThere is a problem that is arising though, and that is priority. What do I mean by priority?Let us say that 2 different flairs are applicable for a post. Which one of those flairs gets applied? We can't "combine" them, since that would break the filters in most applications.Currently, we only have this priority set:1.Removal flairsEverything elseFlairs higher on the list have a higher priority, and will get placed on a post instead of the ones below it.The removal flairs are posts that are removed, and a flair is applied with the relevant rule broken. This flair will always have the highest priority, and thats okay since the posts can't be seen anyways. But lets say a post is both a picture of text, and misleading. Which one "wins?"Picture of text wins, then we can't flair misleadingIf misleading wins, then people filtering pictures of text will see a picture of text unless misleading is also filtered. This causes issues, and is already.Currently, our full flair roster is:Removal flairspolitics (replaced Election 2016)Picture of textmisleadingbackstorya few content flairsThis really isn't too much, but as we grow the flair system, how to prioritize them becomes an issueSo, I want some input. What do you think we should do, what we could do? how would you prioritize things? How would you solve this problem? Will NA dota win the major? via /r/pics http://bit.ly/1RwE8q8 http://bit.ly/1rr742s
